Annika is a Brooklyn-bred pianist, singer and songwriter who began a prolific period of songwriting in 2009 following personal tragedy. She's enjoyed extending the creative process into making homemade music videos, and credits this for many new listeners discovering her music in the US and abroad. She is best known for "Streets of Brooklyn", her musical ode to her hometown. With over 300,000 views since being released on YouTube, its online popularity still resonates today with heartfelt comments from Brooklynites. Annika is grateful to still receive current radio airplay of Streets of Brooklyn from NY-based FM station WTBQ when airing their "Songs About the Streets of NY" theme segment. Annika's original 15 track album "Affinity" was released in 2013 and can be found on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music. She has performed her originals at iconic venues including The Bitter End in NYC (NY Songwriters Circle show), The Stone Pony in Asbury Park NJ, and the Cape May Singer Songwriter and Millennial Music Conferences. These days Annika lives in coastal Delaware and has recently found her way back to songwriting and performing after many years away. Annika is available to perform all original content for singer-songwriter venues, showcases and events. She is also available as "Classic Keys With Annika", her new venture, performing acoustic covers of classic rock hits.
